History

This one of the most beautiful supercars in the world was first shown at the 1938 Paris Motor Show. Built on the factory version of the V12 145 racing chassis, it has won awards for outstanding power and elegance.

It is also one of the few vehicles to have the rare V12 Delahaye engine. Of all Figoni & Falaschi convertibles, this design is the most harmonious. Only 5 of them were produced, and the French government chose the Delahaye Type 165 to represent France at the World Auto Show in New York in 1939. Soon after the car arrived at New York customs, Hitler attacked France, and the car stayed in a "foreign land".

For a long 8 years, the car remained restless until it was bought by a Beverly Hills car dealer, paying a staggering amount of $ 12,000 at the time.
