The Group B rally car used by the factory HB Audi Team in the 1985 and 1986 World Rally Championship, where it was a resounding success and a real triumph for Audi.
Sport quattro S1-the result of the development of the Audi Sport quattro. The first appearance of the S1 was in 1985 (Rally Argentina). The car was different from its predecessor developed aerodynamic body kit. Power of the 5-cylinder engine with a volume of 2135 cc.The sm was brought up to 550 hp. Adapted for public roads, a shortened version of the rally car of the 80s was put up for auction at RM Sotheby's. The buyer did not keep himself waiting and laid out 536 thousand dollars for the car!
